Ingredients

Cinnamon Apples-

  • 1 small apple diced small
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter

Cheesecake Layer—

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/3 c. heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over low-medium heat, add the apples, cinnamon, brown sugar and butter. Stir until melted and combined. Cover and cook about 5 minutes. Uncover and stir. Once apples are softened, simmer them uncovered until sauce thickens a little, about 3-4 minutes. Once cooked, set aside to cool.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt until smooth. Beat in sour cream until combined and then slowly drizzle in the heavy cream while beating on low speed. Once combined, increase the speed to medium and beat until fluffy and smooth.
  • Spread cheesecake filling into the bottom of a serving dish and then top with the apples.
  • Dip and enjoy!

Notes

This is a great to make ahead recipe. However, if you are not serving right away then I would store the apples and cheesecake separately and then combine right before serving!
