Moose Paws

These Viral Moose Paws are a creamy, chocolate-dipped frozen treat that taste every bit as indulgent as they look — but with a wholesome twist. The base is made from a blend of plain Greek yogurt, creamy peanut butter, honey, banana, and vanilla extract, creating a smooth, ice cream–like filling that’s naturally sweetened and packed with protein. Once frozen, each piece is dipped in rich dark chocolate, forming a crisp, satisfying shell that cracks open to reveal the soft, creamy center inside.
They’re refined sugar–free, no bake, and higher in protein, making them the perfect guilt-free dessert or afternoon pick-me-up — a little bit nostalgic, a little bit healthy, and completely irresistible

Servings: 18 paws

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 1 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. whole milk Greek yogurt plain
  • 1/8 c. honey optional
  • splash vanilla extract
  • 1/3 c. peanuts
  • 14 oz dark chocolate melted
  • Flaky sea salt optional

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together mashed banana, peanut butter, honey, peanuts, and plain yogurt until fully combined.
  • Spoon about 1 1/2 tbsp of the mix onto a parchment lined baking sheet and then flatten into a disc shape.
  • Put in freezer for about an hour until fully hardened.
  • Remove from freezer and completely coat in melted chocolate. Place back onto parchment paper and sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Return to freezer for a few minutes until hard and enjoy!
  • Store in a freezer safe container in the freezer.

Notes

Use any type of nut butter you would like, even sunflower butter.
You can also use low fat, or nonfat, yogurt.  I would be careful about using regular yogurt instead of greek yogurt however.  The protein content will change and likely the consistency.
Honey is optional, you don't need to use it, but I like a little extra sweetness.
You can also substitute the banana with another fruit, like chopped strawberries, or just leave it out all together.
