I’m a self-taught home cook & former Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for creating recipes that bring comfort, connection, and balance to everyday life. I grew up cooking in the kitchen with my family, making memories that shaped my love for food — a love I now continue with my own children. For me, food is love, meant to be shared, savored, and celebrated.
My philosophy is simple: all foods have a place, and a healthy relationship with food means embracing everything — from wholesome family dinners to indulgent desserts. Through my years as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I saw firsthand how important it is to create & encourage positive food relationships from a young age, and my own journey has deepened my passion for creating food that nourishes both body and soul.

How did The Home Chef Momma Begin?
The Home Chef Momma began as a passion project fueled by my love for cooking and my life as a mom. I was a practicing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner until 2022, when I decided to stay home just before my third child was born. Cooking has always been a joy for me, but I didn’t want to turn it into a career that might make me lose that love — so I focused on my second passion.
About a year into life at home with three young kids, friends encouraged me to share my recipes on Instagram so they could easily access them.
In April 2023, The Home Chef Momma was born on Instagram. At the time, I didn’t even know what a Reel was, and now seeing how my videos, recipes, and storytelling have developed over time is truly amazing.
By October 2024, my famous Moose Paws recipe went viral (yes, I know, moose don’t have paws!), skyrocketing my followers from 2K to nearly 60K overnight.
It’s been an incredible whirlwind, and I’m so grateful to be diving into this adventure, sharing my ultimate passion for creating delicious, approachable recipes that inspire families and home cooks everywhere.
